Stained Glass is a Pokemon fanfiction about recovering from abuse, struggling to let go of the past, and turning into a funky animal. It is currently sitting at 22,000 words, with many more planned for the future. This has been a labor of love for the past 6 months; I hope all of you enjoy reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it. I may even host some of the chapters on this site, as a preview for the fic itself.

Cass lost her mother at a young age. Before her father left to bring her back, he gave her one promise to make: "Don't go near Pokemon."
It is the final semester of her college degree, and Cass might not be able to keep her word. She is going to have to catch her first Pokemon, or fail her last class before graduation. Torn between her father's wishes and her need for closure, Cass decides to move on-- and awakens an ancient ability lying dormant in her very DNA. With her family's past nipping at her heels, Cass must choose again: Will she accept her new half-life as a Pokemon, or try to return to the human world she left behind? And with her father at the head of a new Pokemon-hunting organization... will she even get the chance?
